Stand Up For Yourself!

Hey lovelies,

I know I've been away for a whole long time considering I've only just started this blog, but when I explain, hopefully you'll understand.

In October, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue syndrome. Ever Since December 2014 I was having trouble with tiredness and it slowly progressed to joint and muscle pain and many more complications. I went through a whole load of tests with doctors who looked down their noses at me and even told me to my face that they thought I was faking it. I was constantly re-visiting them to see what else they could do and after about 4 months, I'd had enough. After my doctor finally told me that there was nothing else they could do for me, I finally stood up for myself and told them to refer me to a specialist. It was after a whole 6 months of running around and pushing my doctors to help me that I finally got diagnosed, and let me tell you, it was a relief.

I've been dealing with a lot of pain, not just physical but emotional. I want everyone who chooses to read this to know that you should always stand up for yourself, no matter what. Even if it seems everyone else is fighting to keep you down, rise up and push them back! Dealing with Fibromyalgia is a massive hurdle and it has stopped me from doing many things a 21 year old should have no trouble doing. I can admit that I have had days where I've let myself feel like my life is over as a young woman and that I have to deal with the fact that there are things that I will never true.

NEVER BELIEVE THAT!!

Yes, it will be hard for me to do some things, but it will never EVER be impossible. I'm not saying that you will never have a bad day. You will. Let yourself have a few bad days now and then, but don't let it take over your whole life.

Our life is precious and we only have one life to fulfil, so live it to the max! Through the dark days, think of the good in your life (even though this may seem impossible, there's always something!). And if you want to do something, DO IT! Don't let anything hold you back.

I LOVE YOU ALL, and everyone should love each other. If you need help, TELL SOMEONE an let them hold you up. They're there for a reason!

Goodbye for now, my lovelies! AND KEEP LIVING LIFE!

xoxo

Brand new hair!

Hello lovelies!

Eek! I'm so excited to talk to you today about this subject! For as long as I can remember I've been at war with my hair. The style's not right, my fringe won't go where I want it, I hate the colour, the list goes on and on. One of the biggest wars I've had with my hair is that it's never long enough. Not surprising considering what I put it through on a daily basis. I've tried all the home remedies, even clip in extensions, but I always found them tedious. Now, you're probably shouting at me saying, "Bella, just leave you're hair alone and let it grow naturally!" I hear you loud and clear and trust me, I've really tried. I just get bored of my hair SO easily!

So....

I've finally given in to an option I've been skirting around for a couple of years. It was pretty pricey, and that's why I hadn't done it up until now; but now I have and I feel like a princess! Like I said, I'd tried clip in hair extensions and not liked them, so this time I decided to go for a more permanent option. I'd looked into all sorts, weave extensions, micro link, tape, but the one that came on top was keratin pre-bonded extensions. This method seemed to be the last damaging to my hair from the research I did. The keratin tipped hair is warmed by a heat connector and and then the warmed up keratin bond is rolled around your hair near the root, unlike the old-fashioned glue method which is crushed into the hair.

I did a lot of research and found a lady called Nina who was willing to drive to where I live and install my luscious hair at my home! Very convenient! She was also extremely easy to contact and answered all my questions quickly. She even came to my house on a Sunday after there was a huge miscommunication and she didn't know that I wanted her round on that day!

Once she was round, she was a delight to talk to. The time went by very fast with our little natter, and before I knew it, my hair was long and beautiful! She did an absolutely amazing job, and I've never been happier with my hair. I will definitely be having her round again!

If anyone near the West Midlands was thinking of getting extensions, please give her a website a visit! For anyone else around the world thinking of getting extensions, please have a look at this keratin pre-bonded method. You won't be sorry!

Thank you Nina for making my dreams come true!

How to lighten dyed hair naturally!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Hello lovelies!

Have you ever tried to dye your hair a lovely dark brown and it surprisingly came out black? I definitely have. In fact, I did this very thing to myself about a week ago. Obviously, my first reaction was to panic. I was supposed to be sending pictures of my hair colour to someone for my hair extensions in a week! My hair is quite thin and already breaks very easily. The last thing I needed was to douse my hair in hair colour stripper and destroy it!

In comes the saviour of the hour, this lovely blend of ingredients. I will share the mixture I used twice to lighten my hair up to my lovely dark brown hair colour! I was absolutely astounded by how well this worked.

What you will need:

  1. Something to crush the vitamin c tablets into dust. Also maybe a bag to do it in otherwise it gets quite messy!
  2. No surprised here, vitamin c tablets. I used 12 500mg tablets for each mixture.
  3. Washing up liquid. I used one tablespoon (optional, but it helps take more dye out).
  4. Some cheap anti-dandruff or clarifying shampoo, two tablespoons.
  5. A bowl to mix it in, unless you want to try your luck at using a counter.
  6. Something to keep your hair from drying out when the mixture is on your head e.g. a shower cap!
Method:

  • Mix everything together until you get a sort of foamy mixture.
  • Wet your hair so it's damp and plop the mixture on. Massage it in well (I massaged my head for about five minutes), and shove your shower cap on and go read or watch something for two hours.
  • When your time is up, simply wash it out. I used a couple of quick extra washes with the anti-dandruff shampoo to make sure I got all of the loose dye out of my hair.
  • Depending on how light you need to go, repeat it again the next day if necessary.

Word of warning! After applying this two days in a row, my scalp was very sore. I did notice it after the first time as well. However, I still think that this is 100 times better for your hair than the chemical hair colour stripper!

Give it a go and tell me how it went! Or if you've tried this, please share your experience!

Best natural skincare products around!

Hello lovelies!

I thought that I'd share my all-time favourite skincare products with you! They are made by Tropic Skincare and are all 100% natural! Now, most products on the market that say they're natural are legally only needed to be a few percent natural to pass! How disgusting is that! The best thing about the Tropic products is they are completely natural and made out of plant extracts.

I always start my morning and end my day using their cleanser, toner and moisturiser. The cleanser comes with it's own flannel made out of bamboo. Unfortunately, in the picture I don't have any moisturiser because I use it so much! Doing this ritual twice a day has completely changed my skin and rid of many spots! I do, however, have quite peely (that's not a word!) skin, which is why the moisturiser ran out first. To combat this, I use their Face Smooth which I honestly think was sent down by God for me. It's a brilliant exfoliator and makes my skin feel soooooo smooth!

The Body Smooth is just a derivative of the Face Smooth, and works just as well. You also have the Body Smooth which is a nice thick cream that I use on my legs way too much.

There are so many more products that I need to try out and I honestly can't praise this skincare line enough!

I do myself sell these products as an ambassador, however this is definitely not a sales post. I do take my word seriously and I also urge you to try it yourself.

You can get these either in my shop so I get commission, or if you don't believe that this is not a sales post, go and grab it from their main website. I do however think that Tropic Skincare products are only available in the UK, but feel free to contact them, or me, and I can find out for you.

Charity Shenanigans!

Hello Lovelies!

For the first time in a while, I decided to get off my bum and go outside. My friend took me to the biggest charity shop I've ever seen! It was so big, it had it's own retail park! Needless to say I was impressed, and slightly overwhelmed. I found the cutest book which was only 50p, so I obviously bought it. It's a book of mini poems apparently written by dogs. A lot of the really do remind me of my own dog, Nala.

On the topic of dogs, as we were getting in the car to make our way further into the retail park, I saw the car parked opposite to us had a dog in it. Bless it's soul, it looked really hot and stressed. I felt bad, so I got out and walked around to see if the owners had left a window open; guess what, they hadn't. This definitely made my blood boil. I made my way into the nearby charity shops to tell the managers of my findings. Just as I was showing one of the managers the car to write down it's registration, the owners ambled over in no rush, got in and drove off.

If I wasn't such a pansy I would have told them off! Maybe next time!
